PCM Peelers

2m & 3m Continuous Roller Peelers

The configuration of these units vary as to the type of operation. 

As a standard the 2m peeler has six rollers and the 3m has eight, the roller diameter and the abrasive surface options should suit the type of peeling installation to give the best produce finish.

Surge Tank & Elevator

To receive peeled produce, with a varible speed drive giving an even feed onto the trimming table.

De-Starch Tank & Elevator

Will remove the surface starch from potatoes before dipping.  Additional spray bars ensure an even cleaner product.

Tanks are fitted with removable inner chute to assist with cleaning.

Produce is fed down each side of the conveyor for inspection and trimming.

The trimmed produce is then placed in the central channel, whilst the trimmings/waste fall into side troughs.

A choice of plain or fluted rollers mounted on a precision chain drive.

Hinged sides also make cleaning easy.

An accurate dipping time is essential and the variable speed drive ensures this.

We also supply Auto-dosing systems to monitor and maintain the level of chemicals.
